My graphics card driver is up-to-date with the latest Nvdia Studio Drivers, I am running the latest update to After Effects, Maxon's app is up-to-date with the Universe 5.0.1 patch, and I have the latest Win10 version installed. I think the only other plugin that has given me similar issues would be Red Giant Universe's Camera Shake, but even that I can get to work most of the time.
But for whatever reason, even if I begin a brand new comp at 1280 x 720 and try to apply a masking layer over a PNG with Red Giant's RGB Separation effect on the mask, After Effects suddenly shuts down without warning. Most Red Giant plugins get installed into the Effects Library.
